Product Review: Urban Decay Primer Potion

Eyeshadow and I have a love-hate relationship. It looks lovely on me but disappears by midday. I've tried countless makeup tricks and primers but I still had the issue of my e/s going bye-bye.
I went to Sephora and asked for primer recommendations and the entire staff recommended Urban Decay's Primer Potion. A few of the staff were amazed that I had never tried it before or heard of it. My goal was to find a clear primer because I didn't want my e/s color to change because of the primer underneath. I had no luck and opted to go with UD.
I am completely sold on this product. It works and it works very well. My e/s stayed on well into the night looking just as fresh as it did when I applied it 6 hours earlier. This was $15 well spent. So far I have found my perfect foundation, powder, and now a primer. I'm happy.

I heart Nina Garcia

As soon as I heard that my favorite PR judge was coming out with a book, I knew I would be adding it to my library.

The Little Black Book of Style is so chic and cute. I couldn't resist it waiting until Christmas or my birthday so i used my 30% off coupon from Borders and the book is now waiting for me at home. As soon as I finish Alek Wek's book, I'll start on Miss Nina's.

Lost my blogging mojo, but I think it's back now...

I was doing really well with my original blog, Miss Kim and The City, but a few months ago my posts became few and far between. Work was BEYOND crazy and my creative juices were not flowing as they once were. Quite frankly, I started to really get annoyed by my blog. I felt like I lost my focus and the purpose of my blog. My day job zaps a lot of my energy and it can be hard to tap into my creativity after endless meetings, projects, deadlines, and conferences.

I'm back with a new blog, a new sense of purpose, and the creative part of me is raring to go.

Me & My Products is about my adventures as a product junkie, doling out tips to friends, my honest review on how products worked for me, and a little fashion reporting. My life really is all about me and my products. I have bins and bins of hair stuff, facial products, makeup, brushes, creams, serums, etc...You name it and I guarantee that I either have it or tried it at one time or another. In another life I want to come back as a beauty editor.

I'm confident I can stay true to my blogging life and not let "the man" get me down, lol!

Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by =)
